Battalion: 9th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Brixton, Surrey. Son of Margaret Cory of 23 Himley Road, Tooting. He was a carpenter prior to enlisting at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was killed in action, 3rd October 1917, in the attack at Poelcappelle, near Ypres, Belgium.
