Battalion: 1/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Son of Richard Louis and Hannah Corden, of Burton Road, Littleover, Derbyshire. He was a stoker prior to enlisting on 17th November 1915 at Derby. He went to France 7th July 1915 and was killed in action, 1st July 1917, in the British attack to the west of Lens, France.
