Son of Samuel and Elizabeth Corden, of 115 Woodborough Road, Nottingham. Husband of Jane Corden, of 20 Daybrook Street, Sherwood, Nottingham. He was a silversmith prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 20th September 1918, whilst in the support lines near Holnon Village, France.
