Born and lived at 22 Mansfield Street. Nottingham. Son of William and Fanny Cooper, of 22, Drake Street, Colwick Street, Nottingham. He was a cobbing winder prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He died of wounds at No. 100 Field Ambulance 11th September 1916, aged 18.
