Born at Egham, Surrey and lived at 11, South Place, Windsor, Berkshire. Son of Jack and E. Cooper, of Windsor; Husband of Louisa Cooper, of 25, South Place, Windsor. He was a horse dealer prior to enlisting at Windsor and went to France on 22nd September 1917. He was transferred to the 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 2nd October 1917 and died of wounds, 26th April 1918, aged 25.
