Born and lived at Northampton. Husband of Ivy Cooper, of 43, Tanner Street, Northampton. He enlisted on 15th November 1915 at Northampton. He went to France on 21st March 1917 and was transferred to the 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 11th April 1917. He was killed in action, 22nd March 1918, aged 25, in the German attack near Hermies, France.
