Battalion: 17th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Crowland, Lincolnshire and lived at Deeping St. James, Lincolnshire. Son of Thomas and Lucy Cook, of Eastgate, Deeping St. James. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at Market Deeping.. He was killed in action, 20th September 1917, in the attack at Klein Zillebeke, near Ypres, Belgium.
