Born at Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Son of Arthur and Mary Jane Cook, of 35, Park Street, Cleethorpes, Grimsby. He was an errand boy prior to enlisting at Lincoln. He died of wounds, 11th February 1917, aged 20, at No. 33 Casualty Clearing Station, Bethune, France.
