Born 5th November 1894 at Mandaly, Burma. Son of E. F. Connor, of 3 Chapel Road, Hastings, Calcutta, India. He joined the Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 19th July 1916 and served with the 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment from November 1916 until March 1917. He joined A Company 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, 10th May 1917 at Exeter Castle Trenches. He was severely wounded at Calonne, Lens, France and subsequently died of wounds 30th June 1917.
