Born and lived at Whitwick, Leicestershire. Son of John and Ellen Concannon. Husband of Harriett Concannon, of 2 Vicarage Street, Whitwick. He enlisted at Derby. Went to France on 4th November 1914. and was awarded the Military Medal London Gazette date 14th September 1916. Killed in action when in the attack near Bellewaarde Lake, Belgium, 31st July 1917, aged 29.
