Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of John and Jane Comery, of 12 Howard Street, Nottingham; Husband of Fanny Elizabeth Comery, of 2, Potters Yard, Haywood Street, Sneinton, Nottingham. He was a laundry van man prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 17th February 1917, aged 34, whilst serving in the trenches near Bouleaux Wood, France.
