Born and lived at Lenton, Nottingham. Son of Harry and Mary Comery. of 15 Park Street, New Lenton, Nottingham. He was a lace machine carriage hand prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 9th June 1917, aged 25, by German shellfire whilst serving in the trenches at St. Jean, Belgium.
