Battalion: 1st Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived in Basford, Nottingham. Son of George and Emma Comery, of 68, Maud Street, New Basford, Nottingham. He enlisted at Nottingham in 1907 and served in India. He went to France on 4th November 1914 and was killed in action, on 11th March 1915, aged 26, during the Battle of Neuve Chapelle, France.
