Son of William and Mary Anne Collinson, of Dalkeith Terrace, Gregory Boulevard, Nottingham. Husband of Louise Collinson, of 4, Oak Place, Wycliffe Street, New Basford, Nottingham. He was a painter and paper hanger prior to enlisting at Nottingham 8th December 1916. He went to France 25th February 1917 and died 15th April 1917, aged 27.
