Born at Willesborough, Kent. Son of George and Elizabeth Collins, of 8, Eastmead Avenue, South Ashford, Kent. He enlisted at Ashford, Kent and was killed in action, 20th October 1918 aged 20, in the attack at Sweveghem, Belgium.

Buried : Bissegem Communal Cemetery, Belgium. Plot 1. Row B. Grave 10.

His brother Private Leslie Clarence Collins, 2nd Battalion East Kent Regiment (The Buffs), also fell in the Great War.
