Private Harold George Collard

Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Derby and lived at Littleover, Derbyshire. Son of William and Mary Jane Collard, of 129 Gerard Street, Derby. He was an assistant greengrocer prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 14th December 1915, by German shellfire, whilst serving in the line at Sanctuary Wood near Ypres, Belgium.
