Born at Terrington, Norfolk. Son of Phoebe Flood, of Holbeach, Lincolnshire. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at Holbeach. He died of wounds 22nd March 1918, at 48 Casualty Clearing Station, Gezaincourt, France.
