Battalion : 2/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Dartford, kent. Son of Henry George and Kate Jane Cocup, of 1 Cherry Tree Cottages South Street, Dartford. He enlisted at Dartford and was later transferred to the 2/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment. He was killed in action, 18th April 1918, in the attack near Kemmel, Belgium.
