Born at Shipley, Derbyshire and lived at Ilkeston, Derbyshire. Son of Edwin and Alice Clemerson, of Leicester Road, Blaby, Leicester. He was a shop boy prior to enlisting at Derby. He died of wounds 7th October 1918, aged 25.
