Born and lived at Derby. Son of Ephraim and Mary Clements, of 69 Uttoxeter Old Road, Derby. Husband of Gertrude Emma, Clements, of 59 Franchise Street, Derby. He was a lamp cleaner prior to enlisting on 27th November 1915 at Derby. He was killed in action, 15th April 1918, during the German attack near Kemmel, Belgium.
