Husband of Edith Annie Clark, of 267 Abbey Street, Derby. He was a lace hand prior to enlisting on 10th December 1915 at Derby. He went to France 29th March 1917 and was killed in action, 7th June 1917, in the attack near Hill 60 during the Battle of Messines Ridge.
