Husband of Daisy Kate Clark, of 8 Sandringham Road, Lowestoft, Norfolk. He was a gardener prior to enlisting on 15th March 1916 at Bury-St. Edmonds, Suffolk. He went to France on 1st March 1917 and was invalided to England from 14th General Hospital, Wimereux, France, with suspected diphtheria and German measles, 28th April 1917. He returned to France on 28th July 1917 and was killed in action, on 26th September 1917, in the attack on Otto Farm, Belgium.
