Corporal Frederick Herbert Clark

Battalion : 1/8th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Retford, Nottinghamshire. Son of Alfred and Gertrude Mary Clark, of 39 Thrumpton Lane, Retford. He was a clerk at a rubber factory prior to enlisting at Retford. He went to France 28th June 1915 and was killed in action, 17th October 1918, in the attack at Remicourt, France.
