Born and lived at Bromley, Middlesex. Son of Thomas Henry and Emma Chilton, of 26, Jefferson Street, Bromley, Middlesex. He enlisted at Stratford, Essex and was killed in action, 24th April 1918, aged 20, in the attack at Villers Bretonneux/Bois l’Abbaye, France.
