Born at Nottingham and lived at Shelford, Nottinghamshire. Son of Thomas and Annie Cheetham, of 25, Cremorne Street, Meadows, Nottingham. He was killed in action, 8th May 1917, aged 20, whilst in the line near Fosse 3, Lievin, France.

Died : 8th May 1917, aged 20.

Buried : Maroc British Cemetery, Grenay, France. Plot 2, Row O Grave 2.
