Born at Mexborough, Yorkshire. Son of Margaret Charlesworth, of Mexborough. and husband of Annie Charlesworth. He enlisted at Deneby, Yorkshire and was killed in action whilst serving in the line at “Tower Hamlets” near Gheluvelt, Belgium.

Died : 19th October 1917.
