Private Harry Chapman

Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born and lived at Derby. Son of John W. and Jessie Chapman, of 60, Cooperative Street, Derby. He was a brewery bottle washer prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 25th September 1915, age 20, in the attack near Sanctuary Wood, Belgium.
Commemorated : Ypres (Menin Gate) Memorial, Belgium. Panel 39 and 41.
