Son of Thomas and Rose Causer, of 15, Templefield Street, Small Heath, Birmingham. He was a cycle liner prior to enlisting 1st December 1914 at Birmingham. He went to Gallipoli 25th October 1915 and France 28th June 1916 and was killed in action, 26th September 1916, age 25. whilst in the line near Ovillers Post, France during the Battle of the Somme.

Died : 26th September 1916, age 25.
