Born at Dry Doddington, Lincolnshire and lived at Oxton, Nottinghamshire. Husband of Selina Catlin, of Oxton, Nottinghamshire. He was a farm wagoner prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He went to France 29th August 1915 and died at King George’s Hospital London, 5th August 1917, aged 31.

Buried : Oxton (St, Peter and Paul) Churchyard, Nottinghamshire, United Kingdom. Near South boundary.
