Battalion : 2nd Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived in Sheffield, Yorkshire. Son of Mr and Mrs A. Carr, of 68, High House Road, Hillsborough, Sheffield. He enlisted at Sheffield and was killed in action, 23rd March 1918, age 19, in the German attack near the Maricourt Road, France.
