Born and lived at North Wingfield, Derbyshire. Son of James and Mary Cadman of North Wingfield. He enlisted at Chesterfield, Derbyshire and was killed in action, 13th September 1916, in the attack at Arrow Head Copse, France during the Battle of the Somme.

Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
