Born and lived at North Wingfield, Derbyshire. Son of Robert and Emily Cadman, of North Wingfield, Derbyshire. Husband of Hannah Cadman, of 50, Hilly Fields, North Wingfield. He was a coal miner prior to enlisting at Chesterfield, Derbyshire. He was killed in action, 28th July 1916, aged 32, whilst serving in the line near St. Jean, Belgium.
