Born at Peterborough, Northamptonshire. He lived at 98, Hildyard Street, Grimsby, Lincolnshire. Son of Robert Noah and Emma Buxton, of 16, Clayden Street, Little Coats, Grimsby. He was a fisherman prior to enlisting at Grimsby. He served in Gallipoli during 1915 and was killed in action, 26th September 1916, aged 24, in the attack on the German positions near Ovillers, France during the Battle of the Somme.
