Battalion: 15th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Ossett, Yorkshire. He was a domestic manservant at Low Hall, Kirkby Overglow, Yorkshire., prior to enlisting at Newark, Nottinghamshire. He was killed in action, 23rd October 1917, during the operations to the south of Houlthulst Forest, Belgium.
