Battalion: 12th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Wiston, Pembrokeshire, Wales. Son of Henry and Mary Butler, of West Dairy Lane, Wiston, Clarbeston Road; Husband of Margaret Butler, of Wogans Villa Clarbeston Road. He enlisted at Chatham, Kent and was killed in action, 28th March 1918, age 30, whilst in the line near Vrely, France.
