Born and lived at Cropwell Bishop, Nottinghamshire. Son of Richard and Emma Burrows of Cropwell Bishop. Husband of Mary Kate Burrows, of Wilson’s Farm Cropwell Bishop. He was a farm labourer prior to enlisting at Derby. He was killed in action, 9th April 1917, during the German attack near Hill 60, Belgium.
