Born at Kimberley, Nottinghamshire. Husband of Elsie Farrar (formerly Burgess), of 32, Milton Street, Cemetery Road, Doncaster. He enlisted at Nottingham and went to Gallipoli on 28th August 1915 and was killed in action, 4th October 1915, age 25.
