Born and lived at Wirksworth, Derbyshire. Son of William and Bertha Bunting, of 9, Green Hill Terrace, Wirksworth. He was a cab driver and carter prior to enlisting at Wirksworth. He died of wounds, on 3rd of August 1917, aged 28.
