Battalion: 1/6th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born at Matlock and lived at Litton Mill, Derbyshire. Son of Walter and Emma Bunting, of 8, Curzon Terrace, Litton Mill. He was a quarryman prior to enlisting at Matlock.  He went to France on 26th February 1915 and died of wounds on 3rd July 1917.
