Battalion : 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived in Nottingham. Husband of Millicent Elizabeth Bullock, of 6, Antill Street, Stapleford, Nottingham. He was a roof slater prior to enlisting at Derby. He went to France on 14th July 1915 and was killed in action, 14th December 1915, age 31, by German shellfire, whilst serving in the line near Sanctuary Wood, Belgium.
