Battalion : 12th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

He was born at Mossborough, Yorkshire. Son of John W. Bullas and Sarah Mallender (formerly Bullas), of 156, Model Village, Creswell, Derbyshire. He was a colliery pony driver prior to enlisting at Creswell. He went to France 29th August 1915 and was killed in action, 6th August 1917, aged 21, by German shellfire, whilst employed on railway maintenance near Ypres.
