Battalion: 10th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Derby. Son of Elizabeth Bull. He enlisted at Nottingham and went to France on 23rd December 1915. He was killed in action, 14th February 1916, during heavy German shellfire and the explosion of a German mine, prior to the German attack of the front line trenches, near the canal to the south-east of Ypres, Belgium.
