Battalion: 1/5th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Lived at 12 Midland Terrace, Long Eaton, Derbyshire. Son of Thomas G. Buggins.  He was a labourer in the carriage and wagon department of Midland Railway at Toton Station prior to enlisting 21st October 1914 at Long Eaton.  He went to France on 25th June 1916 and was awarded the good conduct badge on 23rd December 1916 and was killed in action, 25th June 1917, in a raid of the German positions near Cite St. Pierre, France.
