Born and lived at Derby. Son of William and Mary Susan Budworth, of 92, Peel Street, Derby. He was a labourer with Midland Railway Co. at Chaddesden Station Carriage and Wagon Dept. prior to enlisting at Derby. He died of wounds, 30th March 1918, aged 19, at a casualty clearing station at Aubigny, France. 

Buried : Ontario Cemetery, Sains-Les-Marquion, France. Plot 3. Row C. Grave 11.
