Born and lived in Nottingham. Son of Arthur and Mary Anne Bucknall, of 80, St. Peter’s Street. Old Radford, Nottingham. Husband of Clara Bucknall. He was a moulder prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 14th April 1917, during the advance to straighten the line near Gouzeaucourt, France.
