Battalion: 2nd or 17th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.

Born and lived at Sutton-In-Ashfield, Nottinghamshire. Son of George and Annie Mary Bucklow, of 48, York Street, Sutton-In-Ashfield. He enlisted at Sutton-In-Ashfield and was killed in action, 29th September 1916, age 21, during the Battle of the Somme. 

Commemorated : Thiepval Memorial, France. Pier and Face 10 C 10 D and 11 A.
