Battalion: 2/7th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment.
Born at Quorn, Leicestershire. Son of William and Sarah Buckley, of 109, Pym Street, Gordon Road, Nottingham. He was a hosiery errand boy prior to enlisting at Nottingham. He was killed in action, 26th September 1917, age 22, in the attack on the German positions near Wieltje, near Ypres, Belgium.
