Born and lived at Hadfield, Derbyshire. Son of Henry and Jane Buckley, of 2 Brosscroft, Hadfield. He was a grocer’s assistant prior to enlisting at Tunstall, Staffordshire. He died of wounds, 17th April 1918, age 38.
