Born in Spain, on October 31st 1874. Son of Walter J. Buck (British Vice Consul At Jerez De La Frontera, Spain) and Alma Oswald Buck; Husband of Lois Mary Whalley Buck (Nee Foot), of 6, Harrogate House, 29, Sloane Square, London. He was educated at Eton and joined his father in partnership at Jerez. He came to England in 1915 and was posted to the 17th Battalion Sherwood Foresters (Notts & Derbys) Regiment, on 6th March 1916 and went to France in July 1916. He was killed in action on 3rd September 1916, aged 45, in the attack on the German positions northwest of Thiepval, France during the Battle of the Somme.
