British 15 Star, British War and Victory MedalBorn and lived at Newark, Nottinghamshire. Son of John Henry and Sarah Ann Bryan, of 94, Beacon Hill Road, Newark. He was a skilled labourer prior to enlisting on 2nd September 1914 at Newark. He went to France on 25th February 1915 and was killed in action, 15th October 1915, during actions at the Hohenzollern Redoubt, France.
